This is one of the geraniums I rescued from being sent to the garbage last Fall. I loved the contrast on this, first day of Spring, against the heavy snow we got last night
This lovely flower braved the cold for a very quick shot, then back into the warm house again.
Thanks to Monica at Older Mommy, Still Yummy for the linky.
That is one hearty geranium. Great idea to contrast with the ..... the... words just don't express the way another snow storm makes me feel. Great pic.!
ReplyDeleteOh, hopefully this is Winter's last hooraah for the year!!! I don't mind it as long as I don't have to be travelling in it.
DeleteIt looks very beautiful against the snowy white background Kathy. You have done a great job of keeping these little guys safe and warm all winter!
ReplyDeleteThanks Monica. I really enjoyed keeping them dead headed, rotated and watered all Winter. I'm surprised they lasted this long.
DeleteWe are almost there! I can smell the spring
ReplyDeleteYes, Claudia, even though we got about 20 cm of snow overnight, it won't last a very long time. We have little crocuses and irises poking up through the ground already. That's a good sign of Spring.
DeleteVery striking image. Spring's trying it's best. We're still getting snowfall in Scotland.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Nick. This was from a snowstorm just a couple of days ago, when most of our snow had melted and we were really anticipating warmer days. Oh well anything that hits the ground now won't last long. Spring weather will be here soon.
