I don't usually find myself up on our roof, so don't think I've gone completely mad. But, after our wind storm, we lost a few shingles. While my smart and handy son-in-law was up doing some repairs, I got brave enough to venture up there with my camera. These are a few photos from the top of our roof.
The lake is still frozen over, facing southeast. |
Just to prove I was, indeed, up there. |

Great photos Kathy, the view is spectacular! You are indeed very brave to venture up there.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I may not ever get up there again. It was a 'on a whim' situation. lol

ReplyDeleteNice light!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Claudia. It has been a horribly stormy day, the day before this and we had beautiful clear skies the next day, when these were taken.
ReplyDeleteYou live in a lovely area.
ReplyDeleteHugs and chocolate,
Shelly
Thank you, Shelly. We bought the property many years ago when it wasn't so expensive. But we're glad we did. I love where we live.
DeleteNow I'll have to get uo there in Spring, Summer and Autumn. Don't know if I'll be brave enough for that.
