Just one, of the huge tires on the 797 trucks, which transport the sands, at the oil sands, outside of Fort MacMurray, Alberta. A portion of the underside of the truck can be seen above the tire.

Wow! Having the "regular" tire in front of this one certainly gives a great perspective. Nice photo.

ReplyDeleteYes, they are very big and very expensive and apparently have about a 6 months expected life to them, before they are replaced with a new set.
